The purpose of this position which is located in Corona, California, is to oversee all activities of the Operations Department in order to ensure that the department efficiently meets both NEP’s business objectives and our client’s needs.

Position Responsibilities:

Works closely with the Director of Operations to assist in the budgeting process, personnel management and day to day activities of the Operations Department.
Directly supervises the LED Shop Supervisor, Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, Inventory Control Coordinator and the Fabrication Coordinator.
Provides technical/professional advice and knowledge to others within various departments.
Directly supervises Inventory Control, Fabrication, Shipping/Receiving and Purchasing activities of the Operations department.
Works with the Operations Coordinator to be sure that all operational schedules and plans are documented and coordinated.
Designs system to track project planning and implementation to improve efficiencies.
Directly oversees and participates in the scheduling, documentation and tracking of all jobs.
Works with coordinating the design, integration and implementation of all adhoc and one-off production projects.
Works closely with Sales Department to ensure demands for each tour/event are coordinated appropriately.
Works with LED Shop Supervisor and Video Systems Manager to schedule projects and manpower in order to most effectively use our resources to accomplish divisional goals and objectives.
Working under the direction of the Director of Operations schedules all road engineers/technicians for all non-tour Screenworks events.
Tracks rental equipment (i.e., costs, dates, returns), receive quotes on sub-rentals and purchases, as well as monitoring of equipment care and maintenance.
Oversees field shop operations; shipping/receiving, inventory tracking and fabrication.
Assists the Director of Operations as needed and manages the department in his/her absence.
Maintains internal and external inventory of all screens and its components.
Coordinates fabrication projects with wood and metal shop.
Oversees shipping movements, production sheets and procedural changes.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline; however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
5-10 years of experience in operations, particularly technical and engineering support including experience with scheduling facilities and personnel.
5+ years of management experience in the screen or touring business in an operational, technical or warehouse management role
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and operation of Macintosh computers and software packages along with Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office packages.
Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast management, technology, equipment, facilities and live entertainment and sports productions.
Current knowledge of industry standards regarding safety polices and procedures.
Skills and experience in effective oral and written communication practices with a wide range of personnel.
Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Travel may be required.
